Designer's Notes on 6/20 Update (Rules v7.1 / Cards v2.x)

The following are issues that were addressed specifically for this release of the playtest decks:

• Revamped systemic ship combat to emphasize Military crewmembers more than energy
  • crewmember and upgrade destruction tends to come from non-permanent cards
• Added systemic, non-combat interaction that emphasizes Diplomacy crewmembers
  • eliminated Condition card type
  • added Agenda card type
  • introduced the "Dominant" concept
• Updated some terminology
• Added more trait-based verb cards
• Hazards TEMPORARILY removed to focus on testing of the new Military and Diplomacy systems
