New Email Address for Star Trek™ CCG Rules Questions

The email address for Star Trek CCG rules questions has changed a number of times over the years since the Premiere set was released in 1994, as the person responsible for answering those questions changed. At times, this has created some confusion about who you should contact when the rulebook and FAQ don't completely answer your questions.

With the upcoming release of Second Edition – with new rules and streamlined gameplay – this seemed like a fitting time to establish a new, permanent email address that will remain constant regardless of personnel changes. In addition, my responsibilities as a member of Decipher's web group will no longer permit me to keep abreast of the imminent rules changes, so I am retiring from "active duty" as the Star Trek CCG rules person.

Starting immediately, all Star Trek CCG rules questions, concerning either first or second edition rules, should be directed to trekanswers@decipher.com. (Please indicate in your email if your question is specific to first edition, as many of the card titles and gameplay terms are the same.) The majorrakal@decipher.com address will no longer be used for rules questions.

As always, we ask that you check the relevant rulebook, glossary, and/or Current Rulings/FAQ for answers before submitting your questions, as most questions will be answered by those official documents. Our gameplay message board, while not "official," is also an excellent resource for informal explanations of gameplay issues and pointers to the rulebook passages that will provide official answers to your questions.
