First Annual Decipher Hall of Fame Awards Announced
Shortly before DecipherCon, we solicited nominations from
the Decipher gaming community for potential members of a new Decipher Hall
of Fame. Nominations were sought for players, product champions, and retailers,
followed by selection of finalists by the Decipher staff. Today, at the
DecipherCon 2002 Awards Ceremonies, twenty-one of those players, product
champions, and retailers many of whom were present at the Awards
Ceremony were named as the first recipients of the honor.

(L-R) Jim Colson, Joe Alread, Roxanne Barbour, Doug Taylor,
Bastian Winkelhaus, Scott Gaeta

Decipher's Star Trek brand manager Sean Smallman described
the qualities that Decipher was looking for in a Hall of Fame member: a
major contributor to the popularity of one or more of Decipher's games;
a skillful player and high-level competitor evidencing good sportsmanship;
one who has made a consistent impact over a period of time; a builder of
the Decipher gaming community.
Without further ado, we present the first annual Decipher
