This history has been reconstructed from Decipher archives (sadly, most
of the pages from the early years of decipher.com no longer exist), my personal
files, interviews with members of the community, and various other sources.
Some events have been dated only very approximately (marked ~), and I welcome
more precise information from anyone who can provide it. I also welcome
corrections, additions, and contributions of additional content such as
personal STCCG reminiscences and jpg photos (though I can't promise to use
every submission). Please send any communications to me at webmaster@decipher.com.
