The History of Star Trek CCG: First Anthology
|
July 15, 2004
The First Anthology compiled samples of the first three sets with six new
preview cards of varying utility. The box was prized for its utility as
storage for "working" card collections or multiple decks. Aside
from the possibility of pulling bridge crew or even a Future Enterprise
from the packs, Dr. Telek R'Mor and Garak were probably the best of the
premium cards.

Factoids
- The rule booklet contained a number of changes from the original Alternate
Universe rules sheet. Some were corrections to earlier errors, while others
were newly introduced errors.
Notable Cards
Dr. Telek R'Mor was arguably the best Romulan produced to date. While his
[AU] icon required an Alternate Universe Door to play, nearly all decks
needed the doorway anyway for other reasons. R'Mor was the basis for a couple
of powerful Romulan decks that sent several contenders to the first World
Championships.
