Austin Powers World Championships Results

Avid Austin Powers fans will surely recall the first annual Austin Powers CCG World Championships held last year at DecipherCon 2002. So popular it was that, no sooner was DecipherCon 2002 over, Patrick and Chris Hines naturally began planning the second annual championships for DecipherCon 2003. They were held last night from 9:30 pm to 1:00 am in the Decipher tournament area, and we are proud to bring you this hot newsflash of the stunning results.

Super prizes.

A record-breaking 40 players (last year there were either 35 or 38, depening on which report you believe) showed up to, in Patrick's words, "prove that they were the Daddy Pants of DecipherCon 2003, but, as you know, there can be only ONE Daaaaadddyy Pannnnts....." and to vie for the super prizes. After an exciting three rounds, Richard "Pip" Peiper had secured the crown of 2003 Daddy Pants. The next five places:

Tournament administrators Patrick "Austin Powers" Hines and Chris "Goldmember" Hines – resplendent in a stunning red bathrobe and a striking gold ensemble, respectively – would like to make the following acknowledgements:
