Necessary Evil: Next Star Trek CCG Expansion in 2004

While Star Trek CCG players are eagerly awaiting more information on the September launch of the Call to Arms expansion, the designers are already looking ahead to the next set. Decipher announced yesterday at Gen Con that the next expansion for the Second Edition game will be called Necessary Evil.

Said TCG designer Evan Lorentz, "This set will center on more desperate times and doing whatever it takes to 'get the job done.'" The 180-card set, tentatively scheduled for release in February 2004, is anticipated to expand on the "flavor" and refine the strengths of all affiliations, and may include glimpses of the darker sides of those groups.
